Utah State University in China
The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business operates the university’s program in China which provides students there with a rigorous understanding of economic and finance literacy. The aim is to develop future leaders in business and expand Utah State University’s educational opportunities across international borders.
Our political science faculty members join an outstanding group of teachers university-wide who deliver the program to about 900 Chinese students studying economics at three academic institutions in Beijing and Jilin City. The degree focuses on fundamental micro and macroeconomics training, leadership skills, and enhances student’s understanding of the the global economy through focused training in international economics and trade.
USU professors are responsible for course content disseminated to students through local instructors affiliated with partner institutions. Many Chinese students transfer to Logan to complete their degrees, adding vitality to the main campus. The program encourages cross-cultural exchange between Utah State and Chinese scholars.
